"In Thailand they eat well everywhere. from a truck, a motorcycle, a stand or a restaurant. but then there are better places to eat. sometimes on a food market or one of the better restaurants. satang is one of these better restaurants, only in an inconspicuous location in kopenhagen. there are many boring average Thai restaurants, catering to blanden taste of Scandinavian in this city, but satang is not one of them. here you will find the best authentic, classic dishes of Thai cuisine with care and love prepared. authentic, beautiful but simple decoration that will remind you of the typical places in Thailand. waterfalls, fish, plants, flowers and the warmth of tropical wood, with, as usual in Thailand, a bit too bright light. loving Thai music and a lively, friendly and service spirited Thai host and owner. celebrate my birthday next week. our one-year-old loves it too! there are also great possibilities for the children when they teach their to behave like guests. we are fans!"

"My partner had beef tartare and a steak with fried fois gras. He found them lovely, which he doesn't easily do. Except that the tasty steak was only 2 pieces, and the rest was a big bread piece inside the dish. I had the fish, which was just alright, not bad, but also nothing special.
