"This place was one of our favorite finds in Cost Rica. We walked in without a reservation and the place was full but one of their staff, Eliam, was kind enough to offer us a seat in the wine room which was air conditioned and not a bad option at all. In fact, we went with his recommendations for the night. For starters we had the tuna tataki — thick slabs of some of the freshest tuna we’ve ever had, perfectly done and topped with mango and red onion which went super well with the Japanese soy. Then we ordered 2 rolls: The diablo roll’s tempura style breading was perfectly done just the right thickness of batter and super crispy. The whole roll was a perfect medley of textures and flavors jalapeño, eel sauce, cream cheese, avocado… yum! The paradise roll really surprised me — the avocado, mango and salmon was mixed with beetroot sauce which gave some sweetness and then had a small piece of lime on top which gave the acidity but also a bit of bitter (because of the skin) — it was the perfect bite! Everything was enhanced even more by the wasabi. To be honest, we started out a bit skeptical about having sushi but were intrigued because clearly the seafood would be fresh. The quality of the food definitely did not disappoint, but what really made this place stand out was that they understood the concept of sushi as a dish but inserted a very local flavor profile and the fusion was fantastic. On top of that the service was top notch and the place had a great vibe to it. We spent a total of US$50, which We are looking to come back to try the other dishes too."

"The Indómitos restaurant is so delicious. There is a lot of choice for people who have celiac disease. They have gluten free bread that is so delicious! Even the fruit bowls are gluten free. Also there are different salads, tacos, burgers falafel plates with hummus. I have been here on vacation we have been to this restaurant 5-6 times. The staff is so friendly it has a great atmosphere."

"Extensive menu with decent breakfast options. We were with 12 people and in order to serve all at the same time some of the dishes were not as warm as they should be. Dessert for breakfast was possible!"

"Lovely little cafe with a reasonable variety of vegan or can be vegan options. But they have Soy milk for their coffee drinks which are swell AND and an incredible vegan chocolate cake. Fancy looking and great tasting! Worth a dessert stop."

"We were presented in bamboo restaurant by some friends who invited us to eat there. we enjoyed the fish and chips meal and I would have this as one of the best places to have fried fish in the region osa. we went back a second time to taste the wings that were also delicious. the only negative thing here was that we also ordered a boil salad, but only a basic dinner salad for a large salate price were served. so if they expect a large typical cooking salad. they were warned. also the menu was quite small in total offers, but that was not a big problem for us."
