"Oh my! One of the highlights of our Foodie Trip!! A wonderful place...very quaint and charming! The building is across the street from the old church and the restaurant was the Rectory in the old days. The story is very interesting...the food was simply amazing...and we're planning another trip to Canada just so we can enjoy their wonderful food. The owner/wife was very accommodating and sweet while her husband/chef made magic in the kitchen! The flavors! The Sauces! The food cooked to Perfection!! One of our best meals (if not the Best) of our 3 week trip!! We'll be back to La Cache!!"

"The shrimp poutine was very good and the service very kind, but we stayed with the impression that the fishery does not know the preparation of the seafood.
