"Beautiful surroundings, competent, friendly service, very nice wellness area, sport program, very good food... It is a traditional hotel with many guests who have visited yearly for decades and some rooms are a bit weary. On the other hand, the hotel has completed many tasteful and modern renovations and continues planned renovations. We stayed a week (5th visit) and were not inconvenienced in any way by the construction."

"Love coming to this place whenever I would like to combine hike and lunch. Especially if guests are visiting, showing them blackforest food here is the best idea. I usually ordered a basket for 2 where they have all kind of blackforest goodies. Actually the goodies are too many for 2, it could even be shared among 3 people. I like the foie gras there too!"
