Very friendly and patient, I asked for 7 sandwiches and she was very patient with my order. Nice and friendly people still exist. Highly recommended this place! The sandwiches were delicious by the way! View all feedback.
What Joseph Rigsby doesn't like about 555 Gourmet Deli:
I ordered a breakfast platter and came down when it was due to be ready and they waited for me to get there to tell me that they don't offer scrapple. scrapple is on both the website menu and the menu in the store. they have my number and didn't call me to tell me this so i wasted my time going down there and got no food. update your menu when you take things off of it guys View all feedback.
I visited because it was within walking distance of the Main Line Surgery Center. This was a good lunch option. Basic deli choices. Service was friendly and quick enough given that it’s not fast food, but deli food prepared as specifically ordered. I had the tuna melt I got a turkey special to go. Both were good, solid, if unspectacular deli food.
They are one of the cheaper lunch options where I would say the food is healthy. As in, you don't get added butter or hidden dressings. What you see is what you get. Vegetables are always fresh and staff has always been friendly. I give it 4 stars because some of their food items are hit or miss. sandwiches, salads and hoagies are usually a sure thing. Their breakfast is good but their bacon is bad (in my experience). They are very affordable but if you do add ons they charge you. That's probably how they keep the price down. So adding tomato to my cheese omelet is something like $0.30 or $0.50. I think this is fine and I have no problem with this business model. Even with a lot of add ons, 555 Deli is still a cheaper option that Panera or chipotle. Plus it just feels cleaner than those other two. California club is one of my favorites. I just had the falafel sandwich and it was an interesting combination but I liked it a lot. They take 10-15 mins for an order, so call ahead if you're in a hurry. Like some other cementer said, it's not fast food so don't expect fast food wait times.
Much More Than A Deli In The Lobby! It smelled good, and it was. Simple, but varied menu. I had the minestrone soup and Mediterranean Salad. The 555 Building is lucky to have the Deli!
555 Gourmet Deli truly combines the wonderful flavors of gourmet cooking with the ease and wholesomeness of quality deli fare. All ingredients are fresh and top quality and Chef Kevin Lin brings twenty five years of diverse food preparation experience to his deli. Only Boarshead meats are used and only Le bus breads are good enough for Kevin's deli. The menu is diverse and includes eleven varieties of paninis, as well as exceptional gourmet clubs made with avocado, multiple varieties of freshly made marinated grilled chicken sandwiches and salads and all the usual deli fare. The menu also includes a succulent fresh salmon salad and many protein rich vegetarian sandwiches and salads. There is something for everyone at 555 Gourmet Deli.
The people are nice and the food is good. I recommend the California club as well as the chicken cheesesteak
