Everything was perfect, we had a great time! Great place. Rooms: Comfortable, clean, well equipped. Nearby activities: Direct access to the waterfront, free beach, close to the center. Safety: Appropriate. Walkability: Easily accessible, parking in the yard. Food drinks: Delicious, tasty food, sufficient selection, generous portions. Noteworthy details: Kind, attentive, guest-oriented, helpful staff.

Very nice and friendly. Food is always excellent. Enjoy eating here every year.

We spent 4 nights in August with my husband and 1-year-old child. There were already problems with the reservation, approx. it took a month and a half until I could fix with the lady at which time we could go. The offer counted for 3 people instead of 2 when requested, even though I clearly wrote in the comment that we would be arriving with our 1-year-old child, and he is considered free. He later corrected this when I told him. They couldn 't provide a changing mat, but in the description that the lady sent each time by e-mail, it is stated that making a changing mat can be arranged . During our entire stay, the dinner was a menu choice, you could choose from 2 types of food, which were very tasty, but they gave a very small portion, we did not live well, we still had to supplement in the city. The offer also includes a buffet dinner, but I spoke to guests who have been vacationing there for 4 years, who said that they had never had a buffet dinner during their stay. The great advantage of the holiday home is that it is in a very good location, close to the city center and the beach.

The few days we spent at Hotel Melis were the best vacation in recent years. The fact that we had a fantastic time the whole time contributed greatly to this. Upon arrival, we had a very nice welcome. Based on the pictures, we were a little afraid of what our accommodation would be like, but upon entering the apartment, we were pleasantly disappointed. It is very clean, not in the luxury category, but suitable for today's times. We had half board. Buffet breakfast and buffet dinner were included in the voucher, but to our surprise, a buffet was waiting for us at breakfast, plentiful, fresh and very delicious. We could choose our dinner from two soups and two second courses. Dessert was part of the dinner. All members of the staff were very kind and courteous! They watched our wishes. The back entrance of the hotel opens onto Lake Balaton. There were many sunbeds for our comfort, on the small service terrace we could enjoy more delicious drinks, coffees and meals, which were added to our apartment, and then we settled the bill upon arrival. While we rested, our car could be parked in a closed place on the hotel grounds at no extra cost. Overall, we are very satisfied and will return again if we have the chance.

The accommodation covered daily needs. Breakfast was a Swedish table. The dinner is delicious and sufficient. The staff is nice. Lake Balaton is about 80-100 meters from the accommodation.
