"Friendly staff and a nice looking restaurant. Unfortunately the food is not very special. We had the fish soup as starter and the salmon and veggie burger as mains. It's not bad but I do not believe it's home made. It all tasted industrial like food you eat in a road side restaurant. On top of that the smell of the frying pan is predominant. Unfortunately only filter coffee, which was made a long time ago. The owner can do so much more with this lovely location. Please invest in a proper air filtering system, a proper coffee machine and start preparing the food yourself."

"We enjoyed the best dinner and culinary experience in Norway at Ciderhuset. The location is excellent, the service is warm and attentive, and the food and cedar pairing was perfection. We were actually served by one of the owners who took his time to tell us about the family business and each of the dishes and cedars. This experience made for one of the best memories during our trip. It is definitely worth it for everyone in the area. I also recommend your time walking in the nearby neighborhood that has beautiful traditional houses. We want to have bought some bottles to come back with us!"

"Stopped here for lunch on the way through. Lovely lounge area to sit in whilst enjoying lunch. Reasonable priced (for Norway) menu, with great views out onto the fjord. Friendly service. Thanks"
