We visited Brown Grain by chance in mid July while travelling through Victoria. It is a large restaurant, plenty of waitresses and the kitchen as busy with takeaways and quite a few locals dining in. Dinner with friends recently. Great service, good location (pity about the parking!!) and nice setting. Meal was fresh, lots of fresh salad and plate fillers, but overall the meal was a bit light on. Had a seafood dish that had very little seafood (3 or 4 prawns), wife dish was also light on with most of the plate filled with salad. Wine was overpriced.
