"Decided to have noodle box for evening meal as part of birthday celebration. Whilst tasty, I’ve never experienced such a dry noodle meal (the hit and spicy). It was so dry there was no sauce residue in the box. Needed a drink to wash it down."

"This is THE place to go to impress friends, family or work colleagues but equally enjoyable for a relaxed evening with your special person...Gus is the consummate host, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and clearly enjoy what they do. The wine list has great depth while not being too extensive that you can 't choose the perfect wine...and if you have trouble doing so Gus has the knowledge to advise the perfect drop. The food is TO DIE FOR, every item lovingly prepared and it shows in the presentation and more importantly the taste. This is our go-to restaurant and has to be one of the top ranked in the state. As Molly would say.. 'Do yourself a favour.... '"

"We got 6pm Friday night reservation. We ordered the homemade garlic bread for entree, thin bread, delicious garlic, definitely a winner. For mains it was the Rosemary Lamb Rump and the Pork Belly. The Pork Belly was delicious. The combination of gorgeous pork, crispy crackling with crisp batons of Granny Smith, walnut salad and a delicious sweet potato puree, all a winning combination. The lamb was generous and beautifully cooked. For dessert it was a chocolate pudding and Turkish delight pavlova. By all accounts the pavlova was everything that was hoped for. I had the pudding, it was a beautiful firm outside, with a gorgeous, warm gooey chocolate centre, paired beautifully with the ice cream. The young girl who served was amazing, taking care of all tables and working the bar. She took an interest in our travels and how we heard about Red Peppa. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting fine dining at a reasonable cost in Ballarat."

"What can we say... The team at Carboni's continue to produce amazing food and sensational service. We've eaten here many times over the past few years and love it. Yesterday thought took it all to another level. The Salmon on the specials menu yesterday Feb lunch service) was one of the best meals my wife has ever had. In fact, we both said it is in our top meals of all time and we've eaten all around the world. Hats off the Carboni's once again for a great experience, we'll be back again"
