We came upon this wonderful Indian resturant this evening while walking back to our hotel. The food was amazing with flavours we hadnt experienced in Indan food...

Who would have thought you could get such great Indian food in Ballina! Tried the Naan, was better than any of the Naan we've had in India. Soft and delicious....

"We spent a wonderful evening at The Poacher with our two young children. The food was simply fantastic. Excellently combined, tasted and served. No unnecessary frills, but finely coordinated high quality ingredients. We had the mackerel and monkfish for appetizers and steak and venison for mains. The kids had soups and garlic bread. As a cocktail, we can highly recommend the great Old fashioned. The service was excellent and courteous. After we could not decide with the great selection, Daniel advised us perfectly. Even little things that we were asked whether the children want their food already completely to the appetizer, shows how much value is placed on the well being of guests and also families. We can say with certainty that we have never eaten at such a high level, in such a relaxed and friendly ambience. And at such fair prices. We will definitely come back as soon as possible :"

"I have been visiting Ballina with a friend, for a week salmon fishing, knowing the area well I made sure to book Dillons via OpenTable prior to arriving in town. We ate there every night of our stay and were never disappointed. Paul and his team are wonderful and really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dillons to anyone visiting Co. Mayo, you will not be disappointed. We have already booked our accommodation for May next year and will certainly be making sure to book our table well in advance."
