"Excellent place. We had amazing food, great bruschetta and two pastas. Great serving sizes, the food was delicious. We had a carbonara and marinara pasta. Service was also great. Good value for money."

"The West Tower Tavern is an ALH hotel. It has all the standard gambling areas; however, this one has ample room for families and friends to gather and enjoy wholesome, affordable food off a traditional hotel menu that delivers. If you like the conventional pub-style menu and atmosphere, this is the place for you. Our table of six had varied orders, i.e., steak, fish and the classic parmigiana, garlic bread, plenty of fine beer and wine, and friendly, efficient staff; we will be back."

"We sat the furthest away from where to order the food. The view was spectacular. The blonde male server forgot about us. I asked for boiled water because the tea was too strong we never got it. The coffee for one of the guests didn't get to the table. When I went up to the men serving they were more interested in talking than helping me. I had to ask for our table to be cleared and dessert brought out. I did ask the blonde male who served us first to do this but he sent a young girl down to clear and bring dessert. cutlery was forgotten. Over all very poor service. You need bigger cups for the tea. Was 2 mouth fulls of very strong tea not enjoyable, at least serve tea in a pot."

"We've just returned from a lovely lunch at Cafe 86 on Main and everything about it was wonderful. We were a table of four and had the Barramundi Special of the Day, Battered Flathead and two Halloumi Salads, all of which were delicious, prepared in great time and beautifully presented. We also had coffees and a chai latte afterwards which is now my favourite place to come for chai! The staff are all lovely and polite, especially Ali who was super friendly, chatty and gave us the most lovely gift (thanks Ali). We would recommend coming here, especially on a sunny day as the outdoor area is lovely to sit and enjoy your meal while the world goes by. Thanks again for a great dining experience, keep up the awesome work."

"We travelled down from the Gold Coast so my daughter could play in an AFL game and we headed to Dory's Takaway on the 14th of May for dinner after my daughter's AFL game. I am so glad we did. The food was great and was a generous serving. We ordered two hamburgers and a seafood pack for 2 that my wife and son shared. With my son being a teenager and usually eats alot of food, he couldn't finish his meal it was that big. The staff were very friendly and were patient with us while we decided on what we wanted to order. I found the burger I ordered to be extremely well prepared and very generous with the toppings. My wife and son found the seafood basket was cooked perfectly and again there was a generous serving of food. I would say we definitely got our money's worth last night and I highly recommend going here lunch or dinner. When we head down Ballina way again, this takeaway store will be the 1st place that I will be going to for something to eat. I would most definitely go there again and I am trying to think of an excuse to go back there for a feed."
