"The sea eating here seems like its specificity. prawns are fish are great. they cook seafood. if they had also desecrated, they wished that they could balance the rich duck with something like lime or lemongrass. it was too rich, escaped on sweet sauce....not very pleasant"

"I’m french and was craving good food like we do at home. Ché bon brought me back to my local bistro back in France. Home made fries (the best), a fantastic Bordeaux to go with my steak. And omg the sauce! The dessert “fondant au chocolat” was to die for. Lovely staff super professional. Che bon is a must do when you visit Ballina!"

"The welcoming staff were very pleasant and efficient. We ordered our meals. My husbands entree came very quickly, followed by our main meals. I understand chips are hard to come by at the moment but there is no excuse for serving burnt and damaged chips. Mine was absolutely disgusting. The 'salad ' on our plates was just a lettuce mix, no thing else. Very disappointing. My steak was just beautiful but the rest of the meal was well below standard. Disapponted!"

"Had lunch there today with the family and it was delicious!! Staff are very friendly and helpful, great menu options and very reasonable prices. We all had a different burger (beef, chicken, calamari and a garlic prawn), chips, potato scallops and drinks. Food quality and taste was fantastic. We will definitely be back, highly recommend!!"
