Great place for a late afternoon picnic or cheese and wine. Take your guitar and have a sing a long but no electronic music allowed. A R20 per person donation is requested to support the facilities. Take mosquito repellant if you're staying after sunset and of course take a pair of binoculars. Passenger jets fly in low overhead if the wind is from the east, a thrill especially for toddlers. Beautiful place to relax and do some bird spotting. Pity there werent many swallows when we visited but will definitely be back

A beautiful place for children to play and chill parents
The most amazing place to visit or stay while in durban, placid full of nature and life. Saw over 7 species of birds in just 1 hour.
