"Visited between Christmas and New Year at short notice having collected family from the airport in Cork. The place was bustling with Christmas guests yet the staff remained friendly and unflappable, with a very welcoming lady at the door who showed me to reception to make a booking and them remembered me and took us straight to our table a couple of hours later. The food was very good in particular the cheese and charcuterie platter which was of a very high quality as well as absolutely enormous. It really is enough for two as a main course! Fish and chips was also declared to be excellent, as were the pork belly and a Castle Burger. The perfect place to stop in Macroom."

"Such a nice place! Interesting interior, friendly staff and really good food. Burger might be one of the best I tried, I would definitely recommend and would come back anytime. Pity it was rainy day, their terrace seems very nice."
