My expectation for good restaurant would entails good food, lovely atmosphere, and thoughtful service. This Farmhouse is a very small restaurant, with only one long table available for everyone to share. Not much privacy. Jazz and candle helped with the atmosphere. <br>

At booking, I was told there will be candle prepared for birthday man. Not only they completely forgot, but when I mentioned to them in the end, no signs of genuine sorry was seen, it was a "oh I am sorry, it is $144 please". Terrible service. <br>

Entry was really lovely, main course was large, tasted ok, lots of fish bone, small but still quite unpleasant, and dessert was creative, can't say it was good.<br>
<br>
Overall, will never come back here for another celebration or anything."

"The milk bun with bacon and egg was incredible. The bun was so light it was really just a vector for ingesting yummy bacon and egg and the mayo had a nice heat and just added to the whole experience. Coffee was delicious. I love the way they used the wall opposite in the alleyway for street art and then repeated the motif on the pillar inside the bar area."

"This was my first time dining at The Cottage and I absolutely loved it. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and quaint, lots of ambiance. Great service, attentive wait staff who took great care of us. And the food! Great variety of options on the menu, including vegetarian options. We tried 4 of the shared plates, 3 different mains and 2 desserts and every single thing we had was delicious! Plus they have a comprehensive wine list to go with the food, featuring lots of high quality wines. Will definitely be returning, what a gem!"
