"Spur of the moment decision for a long lunch. Headed in a general direction and came upon this busy looking place. Buzzingly busy in fact. We didn't have reservations but they happily found seats for us at the bench near the window. We were happy. Atmosphere wonderful. If you want quiet this place isn't it. Service, wonderful. Decided on a 'scotch fillet' steak and my companion a pork belly. It did take an hour or so for them to come out. This didn't worry us though as we had some chatting to do. Wonderful waitress did bring over some extra bread to nibble on. Thank you and as requested once a table was available could we move. This happened just as our meals came out. I give mine a 4/10. Was this actually scotch fillet? I suspect it was Porterhouse. Love steak. This wasn't anything to write home about. Medium came as more like medium rare but I'm good with that. It also came out with 1000 fries and was visually unappealing. Butter on top was ok. I didn't say anything as was in a fantastic mood and wanted to stay that way, plus I was hungry. Not value for money unfortunately. My companion gave hers a 8/10. Sauce was divine. I stole some to dip my myriad of chips in. Her words, the two carrots she got should not be out of the ground yet and that small blob of potato/parsnip mash did not have parsnip in it, a micro blip of parsnip maybe. Didn't know what the leaf/stemmed bits were supposed to be. She also didn't think it was worth the cost. Wine is pricey too but that's how it is. Cab Merlot was a bit bitter. Maybe get a bottle of something else, staff can give you a taste first. Bustling indeed. Enjoyed the warmth and atmosphere, staff should be commended. Food very average for the cost."

"The staff was very rude. we had to put the table and take the dinge back. the older lady told a parent to discipline her children. too much salat in salat and they can not adjust the menu to their lust. the environment was nice and they get 4 free sauces and 2 drinks free with what they get."
