Heavy Seas Alehouse - Baltimore

Kevin and his team did a great job making my husband's birthday special! Our server was phenomenal and accommodated our somewhat needy bunch. I was worried about bringing a large group here, but giving them notice proved to make the experience super enjoyable. Everyone had a great timed and seemed to enjoy their food. The menu is your classic American bar fare. We loved the tots (we had the cheese &bacon and crab dip ones). The fish and chips were fried perfectly and the Jalepeno bacon is Really special!

The food wasn't that great pretty basic and not very tasty... but the service was good and we loved the beer. They have a huge selection of unique beers, so if you're a beer person you'll love it. I'd recommend Heavy Seas for the beer over the food definitely.

Small dinner plates left on the table for our use were all dirty. Restaurant was at best 25% full and service was so slow. In fact we believe one of the servers on duty (female) was actually drunk or intoxicated.

Relaxed place, very kind staff all around. Decent food quick and simple.
