Holy Frijoles - Baltimore

It was pretty empty when we went. The staff mans both the bar and takes your order and brings to table. They are super hard working and friendly. The food was good and a unique take on Tex Mex. Coming on a visit from Texas, some of their food was better than even back home. The only thing was their local soft drinks were not good at all. Which normally would not be a bad thing but with how salty the chips and queso were, you needed an enjoyable drink to wash it down. The decor seems to want to be as authentic as what was deemed Tex Mex, fun but not accurate. The pinball machines were very cool! Loved it overall

Fantastic Mexican American food menu. My personal favorite is the fried chimichanga with chorizo and beef. Get it 'drunken ' for $2 more to add some questions and zesty sauce. Their Jalapeño Margarita is a conversation starter, one of the best I 've ever had.

Not a fancy place but the service and food definitely makes up for it. The chicken in the quesadilla was the star of the show. So juicy and moist. The bartender was so nice and attentive. It’s definitely worth the visit for lunch. There were arcade games in another room too. It’s probably a great hangout spot for college students. But if nothing else… the chicken quesadilla omg!

Having reading all the lower reviews where people complained about bland food and stuff service, I entered this restaurant with a sense of unease and mistrust. I love trying new things, but I do abhor wasting money on food I could have made better in my own kitchen and I despise bland foods. So when I sat down with a menu, seeing it had less than 10 items on it was like pouring Miracle Grow on my hesitance. Fortunately, it was all misplaced. The food here is certainly not bland. It's full of savory, spicy flavor! I ordered the fried plantains with lime cream sauce which was heavenly, I couldn't stop eating them even after I was full and their drunken chimichanga with chorizo. The chorizo was lean and spicy, the sauces were balanced added good flavor contrast. The prices were low and the portions were huge. I would absolutely go back again.

Never any waiters so not the best customer service, but the food is great, drinks subpar… arcade games amazing I they will give you quarters for change!
