We stopped in for a late (2:00 pm) lunch. We had a simple meal of sausages (Bamberger and Nurnberger) with excellent house sauerkraut, mustard, and dark bread. The portions were generous and tasty. I had the "smoke beer" and my wife had a pilsner. The service was very good - friendly and quite prompt. My German is not good, but their English was very good. We went to this restaurant Friday night because everything else was full. The place was rather nice with big tables(a bit difficult for a couple).The food was tasteless and the service was terrible.To order one more beer we had to move our hands to the waitress because noneone was interested .At last we asked for a receipt and we heard that this was not possible.
