Food and drinks were delicious. I ended up having 5 drinks and a lot of food, during the happy hour. What Paul Johansing doesn't like about Shoku Izakaya:
It's unclear whether the owner truly understands or has experienced authentic sushi. If Japan seems too far, I suggest taking a trip to Vancouver at the very least. View all feedback.
Highly recommend this restaurant. We came for an early dinner and tried out the happy hour which includes both food and drinks. Great tasty options bursting with flavour- We did also grab a couple of dishes off the a la carte menu too which were equally worthwhile. Although you can’t book this place it’s definitely worth trying out! This was some of the best food we had while visiting Banff. Went for happy hour and ordered one of basically everything. The steamed bao buns, Korean fried chicken, and tako wasabi were our favorites.
