If you're looking for a meal full of disappointment, head to Tsang's. We are local to BANGALOW and decided to give Tsang's a try for the first time. It will also be our last.
For starters, the spring rolls were $5 for 4 and burnt to a crisp. You can get 16 spring rolls from Coles for just $2.

I am from Bangalow and had never tried this Chinese restaurant before, so I decided to give it a go. The owners were friendly and recommended that we try the "special" fried rice, which was supposed to have BBQ pork in it. However, there was only one piece of BBQ pork in the entire dish and the rice was undercooked. We also ordered honey chicken, but there was very little chicken and almost no honey sauce - just batter and sesame seeds. The chicken wings were dry and lacked flavor. We hate wasting food, but unfortunately, the meal was inedible.
The staff at this restaurant are very friendly, and the fried tofu was decent, but the rest of our food was disappointing. The sweet and sour chicken did not resemble chicken and lacked flavor. The presentation of the dishes was also subpar. Despite this, the staff remained friendly, so perhaps our experience was an anomaly.

As for the main dishes, the sweet and sour tofu had soggy tofu that seemed to have been soaking in water. The vegetables, which made up the majority of the dish, were uncooked. The sauce was tasteless. The Vegetable Chow Mein was the worst dish we've ever tried. Uncooked carrot, onion, and zucchini were mixed with dried crunchy chips on top. It was a terrible meal overall.
We have been going to T'sangs Restaurant for around 20 years, the food is fantastic, deep fried Chicken wings and Mongolian Duck are some of our favourites, if you like it hot ask for Paul's side dish of chili oil it shouldn't disappoint.
