"You can 't drive through Bangor without hearing about Frank 's at least a dozen times. It has been a bakery institution in Bangor since 1947 and still maintains the family feel. Need a sugary pick me up? Stop by in the morning for a fresh baked doughnut; hungry for lunch? Try their turkey or chicken pies or one of their deli sandwiches. Husband 's birthday? Call a day ahead to have a custom cake made. Need to send cookies with him to work?
