"All the vegetarian sandwiches can be made vegan, and hummus can be subbed for non-vegan fillings like cheese. Just ask, since this isn't mentioned on the menu. I ordered the tempeh sandwich without mayo, and the staff knew which breads were vegan and to offer the hummus. The sandwich was filling and healthy. I'd definitely order it again for a quick, hearty vegan meal. The cafe was bright and cheerful."

"We went here twice while on vacation in Maine. This location was really good. Staff was able to get our complicated order( food allergies) right both times we went. The staff were very kind. Food was hot and tasted great. Even made sure guest were told about milk in their chicken nuggets. If we lived here we would be back."

"The best eating around my favorite is her spaghetti with sausage and garlic bread. you get the money, I always have enough left for one or two more meals. I never got a bad, disappointed eating from them. I like how they can customize their order online by making more of what they like and/or remove what they don’t it is so easy."

"Their cookie/cake section is my favorite. It?s absolutely phenomenal. The frosting is super rich and creamy, it goes along with the light and fluffy cookie base perfectly and make your mouth water. They have amazing decorating skills too, you?d think they were gourmet specialty cookies. The way the frosting layers with each other is so delicate and elegant, it melts in your mouth. I also really like their crunchy and cheesy pizza along with their massive selection ofpastries and donuts."

"I'm a native of Bangor. I don't live here anymore, but I never come to Blaze when I visit. That was the best experience! I felt like downtown Boston. The streets lived with a contagious summer energy. The outside seating area was large and almost full. I decided to sit inside. I sat in a window seat and enjoyed the eclectic view of the people who migrated. I'm not too old to enjoy a beautiful landscape... there was certainly some of it. My waitress, Tyra (left) was exceptionally sweet and very attentive. The bartender was friendly and makes a stellar drink. For those who are not familiar, Blaze sits in a building that is more than 100 years old. In the basement there is an atomic trap protection. Nextdoor is the Charles Inn. It is considered by some obsessed and, once at Hotel Impossible, Al Brady was fired by the FBI in front of both buildings. In 1937 he and his band came to Bangor to buy machine guns from a local sports goods store. The FBI was dumped. The shooting was described as a spectacular weapon battle (see Wikipedia). If you come to Bangor, do not miss sitting in this beautifully renovated restaurant rich in history and spirits ."
