Very delicious meals were had by the entire family. Parmigiana was our favourite but the chicken burger was great too! The only negative about coming here to dinner is having to walk through the smoke as you enter (the only entrance) and then through the bar area which smelt strongly of stale beer. Went to Bangor Tavern recently on a Sunday with family and friends. Meals were OK but some maybe a bit overdone, chips were not the greatest but just OK. I suspect it was due to it being very busy on the day.This pub is very popular especially on a weekend so it is best to book a table if you have a largish group. read more.
