What Alia Schmitt doesn't like about Great Century Restaurant:
If this rating system let me this restaurant would be in the negatives. The food was mediocre and luke warm at best, but even if it had been 5 star it would not have excused the absolutely atrocious service we received. Apart from being ignored half the time the wait staff only ever came to clear away plates and not once did they come to actually give us any of the things we had asked for. Much too overpriced for the amount of foodstuffs on plates. Melting. Very stuffed with all tables and other furniture / cleaning cars in the open room.

read moreThe restaurant offers quick and accommodating service, with some menu items unavailable on certain days. Highlights include the fried pork dumpling with a sticky texture, although more filling would improve the taste. The egg custard bun has a chewy skin and sweet custard paste filling, while the baked BBQ pork bun is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Overall, it is a decent spot for yum cha in the Bankstown area, with a good variety of dishes. While some dishes may be overly salty or fatty, the staff is friendly and accommodating. However, some customers have reported disappointing experiences with lukewarm seafood, salty tofu, and poor customer service. Despite some inconsistencies, the restaurant remains a popular choice for many due to its traditional Chinese dishes and consistent quality.
This is usually my go-to yum cha, I been going there since I was a kid till now. Sure the flavour has changed not like before but there a going to have hit and...
