"CA L’ARPA Two of us ate here this week and whereas any Michelin starred restaurant is expected to be top class, dinner in Ca L’Arpa is more than enjoying a meal this is an unforgettable food experience I have added a photo of the English Translation of the Dinner Menu You might have a look at the price and wonder is it worth it? You might have a look at the dishes and wonder is this food a bit weird? We had the 10 course shorter tasting menu and it was outstanding . You could spend a lot of time parsing and analysing that menu and torture yourself with a bag of questions What is Black and White Garlic? , Do I really like Tartare? How can you smoke milk? Etc etc But my advice is to stop wondering, take a leap of faith and just go for it. The menu is certainly challenging but the challenge is for the Chef not the customers. The tastes are perfectly balanced. This is food of the highest standard served in a beautiful restaurant prepared and presented by a talented chef. The serving staff were welcoming, helpful, well-informed and highly professional. Chef takes local ingredients and with innovative and creative cooking transforms the ordinary into extraordinary. Modern cooking of traditional foods. But thankfully this is a kitchen and not the kind of lab where many celebrity chefs have now chosen to locate themselves. There are no chemistry experiments here and no sleight of hand. Almost everything on the plates will be immediately recognisable Any person with normal food taste will love it The kitchen being glass fronted we had a great view of the chef as we ate. All was calm and peaceful in there. No panic and no shouting. Here is a Chef in perfect harmony with his staff, his customers and his food You might have a big appetitie and look askance at the smallish early portions but say nothing because guaranteed you will have had a major meal by the time you finish. As for the wine list. Well more a tome than a list actually. It was the most comprehensive I have ever come across. Whatever your taste in wine it will be there and the wine prices are quite reasonable. We had an excellent French Corbiere for €30. If you have the opportunity of eating in Ca L’Arpa grab it!! I could not recommend it more highly and can’t wait to return."

"Thanks for so much feedback we have tried this restaurant. what we've eaten was excellent from goat cheese salad, octopus to pancake and nebrasca coconut. We don't talk about shrimp croquettes anymore, super. the very kind service. When we arrived here we warned that we had an hour to eat and in three quarters of an hour we were going to go out the door. quality very good price. highly recommended."
