"I congratulate the chef, who masters the cooking of meat and fish and who has been very creative. We really loved all the dishes. We had lunch this afternoon after booking by email where my spouse had specified my food intolerances and that was the exact day of my birthday. We were welcome. At the order of the menu I was asked again what I did not eat, I explained, and then I was brought back some sweet mouths, 2 out of 3 contained things that I did not eat. And then on the same fish, we said no mushrooms and I received the plate with the piece of fish that diped in a mushroom sauce with a nice mushroom on it. Fortunately I'm not allergic I just moved all this to eat fish. Otherwise everything was excellent. Except for the cocktail house in the litchi based on Champagne and Soho liqueur (totally mainstream and unworthy of a star to serve this kind of industrial liqueurs) but either, I asked for something else instead, I was picked up a cup of champagne without telling me which it was. On the final bill were the two drinks, I had to ask that we take off the bad cocktail at the Soho. For the birthday party, they totally zealed me. When I said, they immediately brought two cups of champagne. So thank you again for this beautiful attention that was greatly appreciated The service was very fast. So nothing to say about it. It is overall a good experience. I recommend!!"

"Un maximum de produits locaux et circuits courts dans ce restaurant d'hôtel d'étape. Le menu culinaire n'est certes pas de la haute gastronomie (un brin trop copieux, présentation à améliorer) mais se défend très bien avec quelques belles trouvailles: Variations de fois gras. Esturgeon aux artichauts et sauce oseille. Dessert surprise aux pistaches et olives. Bons choix de vins et champagnes. Quelques bémols rattrapables: faible variété de soft drinks, échantillon du café gourmand pas très harmonisés au café, véranda bruillante. Une très bonne étape à proximité de Troyes et d'Essoyes, ville de Renoir."
