"I am disappointed to feel it necessary to write a critical review of this restaurant after reading most of the reviews. My party of 6,four adults and two children arrived as the clock struck midday,the first customers of the day. The reception was cordial,the waitress pleasant and patient. The menu was average,the choice of drinks for lunch satisfactory. The service was slow and became slower. Most of my party were pleased with their meal,however,my baguette d' aloyau contained the worst tasting beef I have ever encountered,an experience that ruined the meal for me personally. I believe an effort was made to compensate by offering an alternative or a free dessert,offers that I did not comprehend with my limited French. The meal was charged at full price."
