We visited this local Mexican restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. It has been voted Best Mexican Restaurant in Barbourville so we had to try it out! The food is beyond great. It’s not greasy, and filled with flavor. The chips and salsa were the best I’ve had. I ordered the Steak Fiesta Salad and added avocado. Delicious!!! The steak is great! the family ordered from here often to dinner until we saw that they overload us. order 2 cheeseburger and they have us for 2 double-Cheeseburger, while only get 2 single patty cheeseburger (not double)Then our last and last visit we will get them business for- we order 2 double-Cheeseburger. get two cheeseburgers (not double) and still for 2 double cheeseburgers. we were charged again for two double patty burger. eat... 1st time dining here and will be the last time. When you walk in, the front of the house is in complete disarray. What an eyesore. You don't know if you are in a restaurant or in some type of retail establishment. There is a table right up front for all customers to see, that apparently is the hang out servers table. What a mess. And it wasn't busy at 6pm on a Friday night. I've never witnessed employees just hanging out together because they have nothing to do. They weren't on break but were all on their phones. How can you work in a restaurant and have nothing to do ?? CLEAN if nothing more. I watched every single employee walk past trash on the floor and never look down to pick it up. Oh, and when filling beverage glasses, they held them by the top of the glass where you drink from, SO GROSS. Needless to say, we will never return. So much work needs to be done to make this establishment inviting . So very disappointed.
I have dined at various Mexican restaurants in different cities, all of which were enjoyable. However, this particular restaurant stands out for its excellent customer service and friendly attitude from the servers.

The food was amazing! I really enjoyed the new location. There were great options for vegetarians on the menu. The restaurant is very family-friendly. Parking is available in the front lot or on the side.
