The highlight of our visit to Barcelona so far has been the artistry from the kitchen and the attention to service at Alkimia. Pablo and others explained each dish along with the Catalan inspiration behind them. Bernard the Som patiently found us a terrific Spanish wine to match our taste to the menu. The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat and drink in beautiful weather, and there is no-charge WLAN. The premises on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for clientele with wheelchairs or physiological limitations.

What Blake B doesn't like about Alkimia:
Was really excited about this place…but some of the dishes were inedible. Table next to us got up and left in disgust, so we weren’t the only ones. Service was also poor and we were rushed throughout the dinner. Sorry to say but something was way off…cool venue though. read more.
