"If you like mushrooms get on down to this understated family run restaurant near Corchia. I had a mixed starter. The freshness and crispness of the crostini was wonderfully complemented by the fluffy rich texture of the tasty souffle. For first plate I had a generous helping of nettle tagliolini with Spec and the local speciality of truffles. This is one of the local restaurant with permission to sell truffles. This was a visual and gastronomic delight. Absolutely wonderful blend of flavours. People travel to Manubiola for miles around for its truffle and wild boar dishes. I was not able to get to second plate though I would have loved to. Instead we moved onto desert. I had a a chestnut and nut semi-frozen desert in a bed of sharon fruit sauce. A thoroughly enjoyable finish to an amazing meal. I would definitely go back again."

"This restaurant is on the main market (locals call it Merca ' street of BorgoTaro but is a little tough to find. It is at the far end and down a set of stairs into, what was at one time, a cantina. Once inside, the restaurant is very accommodating and pleasantly decorated. The food here is delicious. It is primarily local produce and the menu is made up of whatever the chef has bought that day. The pasta is always fresh and the local wine provides great refreshment. They also serve pizzas which are light and tasty. I would always recommend this restaurant. I 'll be back that 's for sure.
