"The goat specialty of the area (Cabro) was falling off the bone in a delicious sauce that brought out the flavours, without any gaminess that the meat can sometimes have. The pork ribs in a sweet sauce (Costillo de Cerdo. Salsa de Panela) were also exceptional, although you may want to trade the limp and greasy vegetables for the papas rustic. The beef dish (Lomo Fino) was a disappointment. Others have commented on the small portions and so-so quality of the wine and we concur.We ate here 3 nights and each time got a seat on the balcony overlooking the main square which is what really makes this place. This and the other restaurants we ate at hardly had any customers which at first made us wonder about the quality of the place, but after seeing this pattern we didn't consider this a deciding factor. Note that restaurants close relatively early in this town.The management must be listening to feedback as we felt the service was good - because you are people watching it's easy to miss that the servers regularly subtly walk from several feet inside the restaurant to check that your wine is topped up, etc."
