Very good three course meal in friendly surroundings. We took our wine and its £3 for corkage. Wine is available £2.50 per glass, We will go again as the food was so good but do book correctly as detailed others had problems because they just told reception. Would recommend the Moules and the large Creme Brulee . View all feedback.

I try to book the Chef's Hat direct but the college booking system did not work so I booked via the reception. They assured me all was okay and if there was a problem they would contact. Last night we arrived to be told they had no such booking. No they could not accommodate us. The best they were prepared to offer was a free bottle of wine, and would we like to book for next week. I had lunch there today. The name has changed as has the lay out, but still a great place to eat locally at a fabulous price. Well done, everyone!
