What karenstormie1980 doesn't like about Ploy's Thai Cafe:
Turned up with a friend on Saturday night. Our order was taken by a guy who seems to have problems with black peoples??(we are mixed race). Because it was our first time trying Thai food we had to ask lots of questions. He seems irritated and didn't really look at us very much next thing he stormed off to the back then came out a small lady who took our order instead but she was ok she did explained better. Been here many times. The owners are lovely and the food is always brilliant. Very authentic thai, excellent value (its BYOB) and veggie friendly.

"Today I went to Carpe Diem for lunch, and it was absolutely worth the wait for a table. The food is very good, £5.50 for a plain Omelette with Chips was great and the portion size too. The staff are absolutely lovely and ever so welcoming. A very nice atmosphere inside and the decor is outstanding. Without a doubt, the best cafe in Whetstone High Street and a very good selection of food!"
