the spires is a great place with a good selection of small caffes. I recommend this juwel of a place! we had coffee cake in the coffee bean in the spires, it is a nice caffeine of service was fast the people there working polite. the spires is still a charming, busy center of activity. there is a community the feeling, and a new caffe has opened on the high street called gails, it is a big caffe! read more.

What Elly P doesn't like about The Spires:
Not enough variety of shops. No where for kids clothes, apart from small inadequate section in H&M. No shoe shops. Nothing of interest and no basic high street shopping. Needs more to attract a mixture of shoppers. read more.

A visit to The Spires becomes even more rewarding due to the large range of coffee and tea specialties.

Nice and bright, easy to walk around but like many shopping centres, it is in decline with quite a few unoccupied units.

Clean, well laid out space with a good variety. A cart/scooter for those less able to walk around the stores would be a good addition
