Brilliant fish an chips every one should try them, friendly staff we go here on a regular bascis and have never had a bad meal

Excellent fish and chip takeaway I travel several miles from Ardsley to this place even though we have several similar shops much nearer.

I travel more than 3 miles and pass several fish and chip shops to get to this shop, fish is always freshly cooked and service is very friendly, highly recommen...

Really uninterested staff and about-average food despite flashing awards all over the place. Would only recommend if you were passing by.

"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."
