We made our annual visit to the Elsecar Garden Railway Show and, as usual, enjoyed lunch at The Milton Arms. The fish pie is a must-try and worth the almost £40 train trip just for the meal alone. We have dined at other restaurants where we paid three times as much, but the quality of food at The Milton Arms surpasses them. The food is of high quality and incredibly good value for the price. The service at this restaurant was lacking and there were very few vegan options available, both for food and drinks, which were not very impressive. Additionally, the staff got our order wrong twice, resulting in an overall disappointing dining experience. View all feedback.
Had dinner here last night, Sunday with family. we were all really impressed by the meal and service.would definitely recommend this place.
Iw has been to the milton poor in the last 5 years. First of all, there is a need to always present high-quality quality well and served. the atmosphere is always very friendly .like a land bumpkin pub . there is a beautiful beer garden on the back and siting on the front and side where they sit and watch the world pass (obvily with a drink in the hand with the cultural center directly on the road they will get a lot of people from everywhere to visit, and many charming talks as they are more friendly and glorified. had many laughing in there and sure there is a lot to come.
Lovely food especially the Sunday roast staff and management very friendly a great place to hang out in the beer garden fantastic place!!!!!!
This is the best pub in Elsecar: great beer, superb food, wonderful staff, along with excellent quiz nights too. Proud it's my local!
Go for lunch every Sunday highly recommended friendly staff fantastic food.
