Roadhouse Cafe - Barnstable

Absolutely great experience. as a mother with a child who has food allergies, the waitress could no longer have been worried and helpful. the chef made sure that everything my son had was safe to make special riders that I didn't expect him to do it. Despite an extremely busy evening, we were a party of 9. they made an amazing job and eating was excellent.

We had a party of 6 plus a toddler, so we made a reservation. Got seated immediately, staff were great, very friendly helpful. Everyone enjoyed his/her meal, most of them seafood. We were near the piano bar, but he was very good didn't impede our conversation by playing too loudly. Looking forward to going again.

The menu was what drew us in, the salmon dish was literally one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had. I would drive back from Derry Nh to eat that again. The decor was old fashioned, probably on purpose, the drink menu and wine selection was good. I expected to see more advertising for local wines and local brews. The bar area should be more open and inviting, I caught a glimpse of the bar area but it was hard to see it, my wife got the seafood caseroul and she enjoyed every single bite, there was so much seafood in the dish with just enough newburg sauce, it looked as good as it tasted. If your in the area and want a nice upper scale dinner experience you have to check this place out!

Great little resteraunt with a really nice atmosphere. Servers were super attentive and really helpful. I did feel like the food was just a bit pricey, but the fish that I had was cooked really well, so I suppose I understand that. Would certainly recommend.

Food was good, but in my opinion it was overpriced. But I probably could have gotten away with order a kids pizza meal. I think it was enough for a grown man and priced for a child.
