This is one of my favorite places to go. I love that they have the coconut chicken (the best! at their buffet in Barre. Not many places offer that, even their other location in Derby only offers it as a special order. The staff is always pleasant, and professional at both locations, but the Barre location is definitely my families favorite. The ceiling, and walls are filled with beautiful decor, and the music is alwa... View all feedback.
What Heidi Latour doesn't like about China Moon Buffet:
Wish I could give 0 stars! I used to love this place but it's gone downhill! We ate there on Father's day, 8 DAYS AGO, and my husband got raw chicken from the buffet. He's been sick since and has actually lost 22 pounds! We will never eat there again! It is my opinion it should be shut down if they can't even cook chicken properly! There are only a few percs about china moon buffet, the price and the crabs rangoon’s! I haven't been there for years, but decided to listen to the peculiarity idk if this is true. my man
My sister and I go here alot, but after today we will never go back. I found a long Black hair wrapped around a lot mein noodle, I showed the waitress, who brought it to the manager. We asked about a discount and his answer was what do you want me to do, there is nothing. Excuse me!!!! A hair, and you can 't even give a discount. We should have been given it free with an apology. But instead all we got was rudeness. Also the food was cold as well.
Went to the buffet for lunch, almost everything was cold and there was a mosquito in my jello. Dangerous and disgusting, was offered no discount and the man checking us out was handing out dirty looks like beads on mardigras. $30 gone to waste, l don’t recommend this buffet to anyone.
Not bad. Small selection. Almost no dessert table. Roast pork was gooood. Reasonable prices. Ample parking.
Little seafood at lunch, but for around $10 there are a variety of meat dishes, soups, fried rolls, deserts and fruit: all tasty. Plus some occidental offerings (potato, pizza). Cut oranges and cream cheese sushi were less than fresh. Hot pot of Oolong tea was 99 cents extra.
