I've loved this little Dutch bakery since I was a teen and we'd pool out money for longjohns over the lunch break. This gem is still a family favorite which keeps us relishing in eclairs and vanilla slices. not happy with our experience here. the room found quite dark, and not well kept. display cabinets not cleaned (glass and regal). most of the items lubricated like 'out of a box' not to home baked. probably not coming back. read more.

"We recently found ourselves in Barrhead, Alberta. We found Laura's by driving around town. When we entered, it was nothing fancy, could have used some updating, but it looked clean enough and was fairly busy. We were actually very surprised with the friendly staff and our fast, hot dinners. I ordered an 8" pizza and it was one of the best I have had in a long time! My husband went more for a "downhome" salisbury steak, and though it would not have been my choice, he thoroughly enjoyed it. We made it back for breakfast twice after the dinner and by our 3rd visit we were treated like old friends! Prices were excellent for such full meals. Worth a drop in if you get a chance!"

"I wanted to treat my son, that is the place he really likes that I checked to make sure that a person can order a foot long and different toppings with taking meat and pay the foot long price. I have formalized how I was surprised when I was charged two very big prices for a foot-long when I bought an additional meeting on one of them in edson alberta. I get that meat change it as soon as it was declared. But I checked before I made the article and was not provided with the right information. from the smirk it was really clear that this was one that makes the subway regularly. the second time I went to the subway in barrhead, I ordered the same meat, we had the same cheese and I double checked that it would cost the foot long if we had different vegetables. also here I was not supplied with other information. the girl was very nice, but she informed me that her manager said it was an extra cost, even if she was the same meat and cheese. "So completely disappointed by the cupcakes I ordered for my birthday. the quality of the cakes that are presented online is not what we have at all! the cupcakes were not a rush order, which was ordering 6 days before we needed them, and I specifically asked if she had time to create them. she admitted that she has sacrificed quality to save time! she could not even cut the labels into kreise, let alone center the image. it also offers only charging credit. as frustrated as it was accepted to save me time and I am embarrassed to serve our guests."
