Nice theme restaurant, lots of cool signs and some tables have their own TV (which played Minions while we were there), but it could do with freshening up.The Peameal on a Kaiser was delicious and the kids menu is great value at $5.95 (fish and chips, burgers, chicken fingers, flapjacks plus others and comes with a fountain drink and ice cream). It was a fun stop on our route, the kids enjoyed it. read moreFlashback Diner in Barrie is a fun and colorful retro restaurant with a 50's style theme. The menu offers delicious breakfast options with generous portions at a reasonable price. While some dishes like the Peameal on a Kaiser and eggs Benedict received praise, others like the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich did not meet expectations. Service was friendly and efficient, with some standout servers like Jade. The establishment could use some freshening up, but the overall experience was enjoyable for families and individuals alike. With a great selection of comfort food and a nostalgic atmosphere, Flashback Diner is worth a visit.
