The Crazy Fox Bistro - Barrie

Exceptional meal. Timing between starters and main course was perfect for a relaxing night with friends. The escargot and lamb chops were both excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was top notch. We will be back.

We arrived at the restaurant at 7:05 pm. We did not receive our appetizers. So we decided to leave the establishment at 7:55 pm. Still hungry. Very poor service.

If I could give zero! I would! Never going back again! I understand it's Valentines day so it was busy but to wait 90 mins for an entrée and then another hour for the main course? If I didn't ask our waitress where's our food cos I saw other waitress serving the table beside us when we were there an hour ahead of them! By the time food was served we weren't hungry anymore....as it was so late, hubby couldn't even finish his steak and asked for bills! So they served our dessert and bills at the same time! For 90 dollars per person???Hubby was nice enough to give tips! If it was me, i wouldn't!!!

My happy tastebuds induced me to write this review. Mmmmmm!!!! There is no other restaurant in Barrie (that has survived COVID19) that can compete with the quality of the offerings /service available at the Crazy Fox. Since David has assumed ownership, the quality of the dishes continue to match and exceed those of the original owners. (quite a feat in these post COVID 19 days when inconsistencies continue to plague many restaurants). And, yes, Barrie, 'The Crazy Fox ' is 'high end '. In this case, 'High End ' does not mean exorbitant prices; just top quality relative to hospitality, freshness/taste , service and ambience. This restaurant would have no difficulty competing with similar ' 'continental style ' restaurants in larger metropolitan areas. Thus, how lucky are we to be able to to avail ourselves to such quality in Barrie!!! My daughters and I have always enjoyed our 'Mother/Daughter Nights ' at the Crazy Fox. We 've never had a dish that we did not enjoy to the max. This includes their fabulous 3 course prix fixé dinners during Local licious. Don 't hesitate to support this local business!!! You won 't be disappointed whether you order from the specially priced 3 course Local licious menu or from the regular menu. It 's all fabulous consistently!!!

A wonderful meal to surprise my dad for his 75th birthday. Lamb was perfectly cooked and yummy! Thank you!
