"Ok. I'm not a Canadian but now that I've found this place I may become one. Everything was fantastic, service was excellent and Wonderful Wanda makes the best jam in the world. We had the lobster bisque, the Lobster Fondue, pountain, and chocolate cake. They were all Outstanding! For Me the best was the Lobster Fondue. It was out of this world. Which is interesting because they are only a few miles from where a UFO crashed in the 60's."

"I suspect that the Dennis Point Café started up just to feed all the hungry fishermen and fish plant workers at the point. After all, there's nothing else close by, but word of their quality, no-nonsense offerings quickly got out! Today the café probably serves more locals and tourists, especially in the Summer, but who cares! The menu is typical "down east" diner fare with a heavy emphasis on seafood, and why not. With the boats and fish plant right across the street it's not likely to get much fresher! Friendly staff, clean, comfortable atmosphere, more than ample, well prepared servings, all at a reasonable price. If you're even remotely close you shouldn't pass up a chance. Homemade desserts too!!"

"We ate here on the weekend and everybody had a fabulous meal. Husband and I each got a rice bowl, and the kids had subs. The rice bowls (basmati rice, a mix of salad greens, pork loin, veggies, and a crazy awesome dressing) are incredible, full of flavour and lots of healthy ingredients. Totally unexpected in an ice cream joint! The subs were made with delicious fresh bread and the kids gobbled them up. We shared ice creams with flavour-burst for dessert (soft serve with flavoured syrup drizzled over) and they were also delicious. We must have timed it just right because there were only a couple of people in front of us when we arrived, but a whack of folks arrived a short time later. Popular spot, and easy to see why!"

"Came recommended, good food, large portions, good fast service (perhaps too fast as our mains arrived before we'd finished our starters). But it is definitely over-priced. Perhaps prices have gone up since Covid hit."

"This restaurant is one of only a couple in the area that were open at night. Upon recommendation, we headed here and were warmly greeted. In fact, service was great throughout the evening. Highlights were the pan fried scallops with twice baked potato and creamed spinach. That creamed spinach was unexpectedly good, not like the typical cream spinach you get at Steak restaurants. The other hit of the night was the coconut crewman pie. It's homemade and tastes like it, in a good way. The misses were the hot lobster dip. It didn't have a lot of lobster, but worse was the dip which had an unpleasant tang. The other miss was the haddock which tasted ok but had an awful tartar sauce paired with it. Again, it had a sickly sweet taste to it. I think this place is worth visiting but I'd recommend staying away from white, creamy sauces."

"We were a party of 5 and all ordered the Sea Dog (some with frits and some without). Certainly, some of the best seafood we've ever had. Large portion, perfectly cooked and delicious. I can't wait to go back. Just delicious!"

"10 of us stopped here for supper one evening in August. The food was served quickly, it was hot and tasty. Servers were very friendly and always nearby. Prices are reasonable, well worth a visit!"
