Great location, marvelous building, secure parking, lovely staff, smashing food, and quality surroundings both in and out, what's not to like? My wife and I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the experience. We would definitely stay again if in the area. View all feedback.

What otjhill doesn't like about The Chetwynde:
To say this hotel is old fashioned is understating the obvious but it was very poor indeed. The Rio in the main building was not clean and smelt musty, the shower over the bath overshot the bath and flooded the bathroom, despite asking for fresh towels the second day as I had used them to mop the floor) only had small ones replaced. Breakfast very basic and eggs overcooked. I would not advise staying here. View all feedback.
