"We didn't eat here. The rating is purely based on the friendly owners giving info on the hike telephonically and again when we stopped by to ask about the start of a hiking trail. We wanted to have a late lunch there after the hike, but unfortunately roadworks were building a new curb in front of the restaurant. We couldn't go into the restaurant parking area and not park safely nearby."

"Great place, wonderful staff and PERFECT food and drinks. The milkshakes are homemade and just perfectly to taste, the food and breakfast is so fresh and pure. Highly recommended!!"

"I was privileged to spend two days at the Karoo Art Hotel when we had a conference there. It was a wonderful experience. Without exception the staff were friendly and eager to help with whatever you need. The food was great. I especially enjoyed the 'Riel Dancers ' that was arranged as entertainment for us. They were so energetic! I will certainly return when I have the opportunity."

"This is a must stop when traveling on the N2 past Buffelsjags. Food is always amazing with my steak, cheese and mushroom roosterkoek made exactly how I liked it. On the way back on our road trip we will stop there again."

"Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Arrived Friday, departed Monday, 2 rooms. Beautiful, relaxing, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast tops. Rooms beautiful with all necessary amenities. Bar to die for! Only one suggestion: duplicate room keys for ease of access to staff. Recommended: Yes! We will definitely stay with you in future. (Since we departed early Monday morning, we were offered an early breakfast NEVER had that before . Wishing you all the best! Johan, Ronelle, Lauren and Lan"

"Good burger comes standard with bacon and cheese. Solid chilli sauce. Undprtunately, the burger patty was cooked to death. Fries are crispy and golden and not the wet paper bags of pus that one usually encounters. So yourself a favour if you do visit, try the home made lemonade."
