Stikett Inn is a charmingly renovated old canal house that was used by a lock tender in the 19th century in Barryville, New York. Johnny and Roswell have done a fantastic job renovating the house with charm and style. They have now also opened the Oasis, selling food and hard cider. Barryville is a beutiful rustic town where you can raft on the Delaware River. It is a once in a lifetime experience. View all feedback.

A small bar offering Beer, Cocktails, Hard Cider and select Mexican food. On this visit I didn't have any Alcoholic beverages so I can't comment on those. The appetizers weren't anything to write home about. Had a version of jalapeño poppers w/ Chorizo and Quac. Chips. We also ordered a couple Tacos and a burrito. Those were pretty good. This spot is well worth the visit! Legit tacos, delicious ceviche, house made cider, local beer, select cocktails in scenic Barryville NY what's not to love?

Joan is so kind made me feel very comfortable! I called prior and the bartender told me Armando the cook would be in today so it would be a great time to check the restaurant/bar out! I took my niece for an adventure, we arrived around 7pm ish on Friday night. When we arrived we were told no cook, as for they left early and have a limited menu, which was fine because the quesadilla burrito did the trick. It was very pricey in my opinion, two veggie quesadillas one veggie burrito and I tried the cider. For that the cost was $41 something. I’m not sure why it was $41 for 2 quesadillas, a burrito 1 drink.. maybe if there was meat protein I could understand more expensive items. The cook Armando was present but not working, he was nice too, just not sure why I was told he would be in the kitchen prior to my visit a couple hours earlier. Either way, kind welcoming energy great customer service means the most to me, so I plan to come back to try again! I really want to love this place so I will make another visit when I am back home next summer. *UPDATE After reading your response it looks like we were over charged. I hope that the menu can match what’s offered next time we are in so I know what I’m paying for. Thanks for the response!
We were visiting from out of town and are so happy that we stopped here for lunch. Everyone who works there is incredibly personable and warm, and the food was phenomenal. We got a few hot sauces for the road, and ordered a case of their cider as well. Don’t miss this gem!
