My husband and I were visiting from Canada. We showed up early for lunch but they went out of their way to serve us right away. Both our meals were delicious and we got to have a nice glass of Sauterne to accompany it. Both the chef and waiter were attentive and friendly. Unfortunately our experience of visiting the shop was not good. We walked in hoping to be greeted and advised on local wines and vineyard. The gentleman in the shop was sat by a table on a stool looking at his laptop. He didn’t acknowledge us walking in or offer any help! This was a real shame as the shop was wonderful.
