"We were going to hit up another spot in Barstow on the way to Vegas but it was permanently closed! Doesn't matter, we saw this place, flipped a u-turn and walked right in. We were seated, drinks ordered and chipa&salsa delivered before I could even take off my mask. After we ordered our food, it came out as soon as I put the straw in my drink and took a sip. The salsa for the chips and salsa had a nice kick. The chips were fresh. I ordered the chilaquiles breakfast and it was delicious, perfect amount of salsa for chips for the chilaquiles. It came with three eggs, I asked for them over easy and they were just right. The dish came with rice And beans which were very tasty. The service was great and fast. Would recommend."

"We were passing through Barstow and found this place. Excellent ratings and they deserve them! The food was SO GOOD. Don't be afraid to get off the beaten path, La Mesa really isn't that much out of the way and it is so worth it. The entire staff was so friendly. I had questions about some items and the whole place chimed in to help. It was a wonderful experience. They were even kind enough to bring our order to the parking lot when it was ready."
