"Islazulのコテージ内にエコツァーデスクがあります。ツァー参加者は、四駆で登山口まで運んでもらいます。コースは、日本の低山の登山道と良く似ていました。往復約5kmです。要所要所で、ガイドが説明してくれました。トレッキング前、山中に蚊がいるかどうかをガイドに尋ねました。そんなにいないとの答えでした。実際は、日本人の私と白人系ツァー客とガイドは全く蚊の被害はなかった。唯一のアフリカ系通訳男性が蚊の被害者でした。半袖を着ていた彼は、腕を何ヶ所も蚊に攻撃されていました。季節によっては、虫除けの薬が必要ですね。"
