What James Hale likes about Traci's Shaved Ice:
We went to Hawaii a couple of years ago and fell in love with a Hawaiian shaved ice place there so I couldn't wait to try this place when I heard about it. They have a very large selection of flavors and it tasted great. It just wasn't the same as what I had in Hawaii. Highly recommend on a hot summer day in Kansas though. Prices are reasonable at $2 for a small and $3 for a medium. Try the Tigers Blood...very good! View all feedback.

"We happened to see the flags outside and decided to try it since we hadn’t had Jamaican food for a long time. My first response was that it’d be too spicy. We met David the owner, and he grinned and corrected me and said “flavorful”. I now use that word in my vocabulary! We got the pulled pork and the non-alcohol pink ting soda (at David’s recommendation). Boy, was that a refreshing drink after that AMAZING flavorful smoky meat. My husband and I looked at each other and said we hadn’t had this good of a meal since we were in Seattle and had found the best Cuban sandwiches. This is in no way Cuban food but the excellence of representing a country’s cuisine is 5 star and above. The restaurant is owned and managed by David and his wife. David is US military, and we literally thank him for his service! Sorry it took so long to write this. We were there about a month ago. I’d say load up your family and friends and take a road trip. We’re from KC. Thanks David!"
